Weavings Inspired by Nature

Welcome…

I seek to create a visual, tactile and emotional experience for the viewer by intricately weaving meaning and feeling into texture and color. Each unique tapestry exhibits a sense of peaceful movement, inviting the viewer inwards to experience a moment of softness, quiet beauty and nourishment for the soul.

Intentional Weaving: Tapestries of Soul and Story

Intentional Weaving: Tapestries of Soul and Story

Would you like to learn to weave—not just with yarn, but with memory, meaning, and inner wisdom?

Join fiber artist Dana Alkebu-Lan for a transformative 3-part weaving journey that honors the sacred lineage and invites you to explore the threads of your own life. These sessions are not simply lessons in technique—they are rituals of remembrance, creative ceremony and intuitive expression.

Held privately or in intimate small groups, each 3 hour class opens a contemplative space where weaving becomes a mirror for your inner landscape. Through breath-led practice, storytelling, and ancestral reverence, you’ll craft a tapestry that carries your voice, your vision, and your healing.

What to Expect

  • Weaving on a 10” loom with natural fibers

  • Guided reflection and intuitive design

  • Connection to myth, nature, and personal symbolism

  • A nurturing space for emotional and artistic exploration

Details

  • Format: Private class or small group (you + your friends, 6 people max)

  • Schedule: Three sessions, 3 hours each – dates arranged together
