Luminous Gallery | Studio is a beautiful artist’s loft space located in Friday Harbor, Washington. It’s home to Dana’s weaving studio and is also available for intimate classes, workshops and unique events.
LUMINOUS is more than a gallery and studio, it’s a beacon calling the creative soul. It’s a beautiful space inspired by and connected to Mother Nature. An intentional place to create, to experiment, to play, to have deep conversations over tea. It’s a sanctuary where those who enter are transported into a peaceful ease, a deep breath and a moment of softening that allows the heart’s voice to be heard more clearly. Luminous is a haven that nurtures one’s inner light forth.
As a beautiful new teaching space, Luminous Gallery | Studio will be the home of Dana’s upcoming weaving classes. Also, she will host some amazing artists and healers who are very excited to offer their own classes and workshops.
Luminous Gallery | Studio:
~ Is available to rent for classes, workshops and retreats.
~ Is available to rent for intimate events: meetings, book clubs, artistic and intentional gatherings, etc.
~ Is open to hosting artists to showcase their work for the monthly Art Walks.
~ Is open by appointment for private viewings of my weavings.
~ Will most likely be “open” if Dana is there weaving although Luminous does not have traditional retail hours.

What’s Included in Your Event Package
The light and airy space is is designed with:
Two 6’ farmhouse style tables with seating for 10 (tables together) or 12 (tables separated)
Comfy sectional sofa, seating for 5-7
Loveseat and upholstered chairs, seating for 4
Gallery Lighting or Loft Lighting options
Seven large windows with flowy linen drapes and blinds
Gorgeous hand painted teal and gold sparkle floor
Microwave, small fridge, tea kettle, tea and cups
Filtered drinking water and cups
Coat rack for 6
Name tags and sparkly markers
Tea light candles, diffuser with essential oils
Electric heat and AC
900 sq. ft.
Location: 100 Front Street S, Friday Harbor, WA 98250 ~ upper loft of the Cannery Landing building next to the ferry dock
2025 Rental Rates
Include what you need for setup, event time and cleanup.
$25/hour
$200 deposit, refundable upon successful cleanup of space after event
What’s the process to have an event at Luminous?
Check the event calendar for availability
Submit a proposal for your class or event
Patiently wait for confirmation & create a flyer for your event to use for promotion
Dana will send you a rental agreement and invoice
Once the rental agreement is signed and payment received your class/event will be posted on the Luminous calendar and is ready for you to promote
Prior to your event, a walkthrough will be scheduled to introduce you to all the features Luminous provides. You’ll be given a pre/post event checklist and entry/bathroom codes
